The sun will shine a great deal more for the Los Angeles-based Beach Bunny Swimwear line this upcoming season. Since its debut in 2004, Beach Bunny has been creating sexy, provocative luxury swimwear with a mix of California glam and sex kitten appeal, reported Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Its flirty attitude has attracted A-listers such as Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, Fergie and Cindy Crawford.

For the 2012 season, Beach Bunny worked upbeat prints and styles into the collection. The show started with an American-inspired theme of red, blue, gold and stripes. The first look showed off a bright blue, sparkling glitter bikini, with a low-waisted bikini bottom that featured dangling gold chains instead of tradition string ties. The swim look was completed with matching gold body chains. The American set also highlighted a glitter blue cutout one-piece with a deep neckline, and a black-and-white striped bikini with red lace trim and blue bolero.

Beach Bunny also used various fun prints in the swim line, such as cherries, polka dots and leopard. The prints were mixed and matched with one another to create looks including polka dot bikinis with cherry trims, cherry underwire tops with black lace trim and red polka dot cover-ups, gray leopard print bikinis, and one-pieces mixed with sparkling bottoms or pink accents.

Reds, yellows and pinks worked their way into the line in cover-ups, trims, ties and accessories. The print and color mash-up played well with the label’s traditional vixen spirit.

In addition to the vibrant line, Beach Bunny also continued its exclusive bridal swimwear collection, Beach Bunny Bride, which this season was all about lace, pearls, ruffles and trains.

The first blushing bride worked the runway in a white lace-and-bead embroidered high-waisted bottom and underwire top, complete with a dramatic, voluminous veil that cascaded to the floor and layers of pearl strands.

Another Bunny Bride showed off a bandeau top made flirty with tiers of ruffles and a matching bottom. The ruffled two-piece also had a complementing one-piece with a low-cut neckline embellished with lace. Other looks included lace triangle tops with sheer baby-doll cover-ups, lace underwire push-up tops, bandeaus with lace trim under mesh lace trim tops, and low-cut bikini bottoms with floor-grazing satin trains.

Beach Bunny Swimwear has nailed another season with sexy styles perfect for hanging at the beach or strutting your stuff at glamorous pool parties.
