It seems like we just stepped into spring but before you know it, fall 2013 inventory will be hitting the stores! If you’re looking to get ahead of the fashion game, start by reading the following must-have trends in accessories for the upcoming season.
High vamps take over the pump with V cut and square lines to create a lengthening effect or updated bootie style. Perfect for the fall and winter seasons, toe-caps, exotic applications and crisp whites were stand out trends.
Chains continue their turn in the spotlight but take on a chunkier look this season. Taking a cue from the 80s and 90s, bulky chain links are seen stacked, resurfaced and mixed together in gold, silver and colored finishes.
The box bag, seen all over the runways, is sure to be the “it” shape of the season. Seen in oblong silhouettes and tapered tops, these bags work with a variety of straps and handles. Colorblock panels and exotic skins were also popular with designers.

Oversized and decadent, fall is no time to get shy when it comes to jewelry. Elaborate pieces were key on the runways, with many featuring Byzantine and Maltese cross motifs, and chandelier styles that swept the shoulder.
