Today's blogger of the week is the adorable Brittany of The Real StyleStalker of Orange County! Her personal style blog chronicles her fun-filled fashionable musings in beautiful southern California.

LadyLUX: What inspired you to start a fashion blog?

Brittany: I have been reading fashion blogs religiously for years and I would venture to say that my favorite fashion bloggers are some of my greatest style influencers. After watching so many of these ladies' blogs grow to be such huge forces in the fashion sphere I decided that I needed to get in on the fun! I was always so scared that people would think I was vain or shallow because of it; but I finally thought, “Ya know…who cares?!” I just have fun with it. That's what fashion has always been about for me- fun.

LL: How would you describe your personal style?

B: I would describe my personal style as eclectic. I derive fashion influence and style ideas from anything and everything. I can't pre-plan a look for anything, because I honestly dress according to my mood.

LL: What is your current style obsession?

B: I am so happy that sharp, ladylike dressing is making a comeback. For a while that androgynous, grunge look was so in. It is so refreshing to see that women want to look like women again. On that note, I think we are also leaving behind the black trend- it's all about the color! The brighter, the better.

LL: Tell us something your readers may not know about you?

B: For the past 5 years I have worked as a Teaching Aide in a special education preschool class. It's not exactly the place for fashion, but I love it.

LL: What do you hope to accomplish in 2012?

B: In 2012 I hope that people will read my blog and think I have a a style unique to me. I always want to stay true to myself!
