Today's blogger of the week is the adorable Tieka from Selective Potential! This small town gal is a graphic designer by day and fashion bloggger by night! She shares with readers her traveling adventures and stylish musings!

LadyLUX: What inspired you to start a fashion blog?

Selective Potential: I had just lost 35 pounds and was so inspired by the new ways I could dress my body. I ended up finding an article on four girls who started fashion blogs. They seemed so real and I was instantly inspired to start my blog. I haven't looked back since!

LL: What is your favorite part about creating content?

SP: How I can surprise myself. Sometimes I get down and out on myself on being creative or unique. But once I come up with a blog post, pour my heart into it and publish it… I'm so surprised at how proud I am. Plus, it's amazing to receive feedback from such a supportive community.

LL: Name some of the bloggers whom you look up to and why?

SP: Elsie of A Beautiful Mess. Katie of Skunkboy Creatures. Elizabeth of Delightfully Tacky. These women are so motivated, real, hardworking, honest, kind and beautiful in every way. Anytime I'm in need of inspiration for life, fashion, beauty, creativity, whatever… I head straight to their blogs.

LL: What do you do when you aren’t working on your blog?

SP: I work a full-time day job as a graphic designer, which I love more than anything. In my free time, I play in a punk band called Circle Maybe, love to ride my mint green scooter around town, travel around our state and go out to music venues with friends.

LL: What has been your favorite experience as a blogger?

SP: I've had so many amazing experiences since I've started blogging. One of the most surprising and craziest experiences was when I was featured on a digital billboard in the middle of Times Square. I never in my life thought that would happen!

LL: What is your current style obsession?

SP: For summer, I always covet the same things really. Coral lips, messy buns, circle sunnies, cut off jean shorts, wedges and sheer blouses.

LL: When you’re in need of some fashion inspiration, where do you look?

SP: Pinterest is an amazing platform to quickly gain inspiration for anything. I especially love looking at Lucky Magazine's “Bloggers we love” board. I'm really inspired by real women, that's why blogging is so special to me.

LL: Share something your readers might not know about you.

SP: I'm a huge pop addict. No matter how hard I try, I cannot stop drinking diet coke. It's so awful, but I'm weak when it comes to pop!
