In the final weeks before the much-anticipated film “The Great Gatsby” is released in theaters, Tiffany & Co. is celebrating and sharing its excitement for the film’s arrival by unveiling its “Great Gatsby”-themed jewelry collection featured in window displays at its Fifth Avenue flagship store in New York City. Exuding the opulent style of the Roaring Twenties and the grand magnificence of the American Jazz age, these glamorous window displays showcase one-of-a-kind pieces highlighting the Jazz Age Glamour collection and the 2013 Blue Book Collection.

“The Great Gatsby” director Baz Luhrmann and costume designer Catherine Martin collaborated with the famous luxury jewelry brand to create and source jewelry for the film and design the window displays. The displays show various scenes featuring strings of pearls over New York City’s Art Deco skyscrapers, a diamond headband floating above a pool of bubbles, a pyramid of champagne glasses flaunting diamond earrings and a large diamond ring hanging from a setting of romantic red hues bordered by large chandelier towers.

The Jazz Age Glamour collection and 2013 Blue Book collection feature fine jewelry pieces incorporating diamonds combining the Art Deco and floral shapes in jewels of striking colors with pavé diamonds and other square-cut gems such as sapphires and strings of pearls.

To help bring “The Great Gatsby” to life even further, the fourth floor salon of the flagship Tiffany store was transformed into a Jazz Age salon complete with urns featured in the film’s lavish party scenes.

Tiffany & Co. will replicate “The Great Gatsby” window displays at select retail stores internationally and in the U.S.
