Patrick Demarchelier photographs Dior couture looks for new book
For a new book titled Dior Couture Patrick Demarchelier, fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier snapped some of the top beauties in the modeling and acting industry, including Gisele Bundchen, Charlize Theron, Karlie Kloss and Sasha Pivovarova . These gorgeous women were captured wearing exquisite Dior haute couture creations in locations from Shanghai to the Pairs Opera House and Times Square, New York, reported Vogue UK.
The 240-page tome highlights pieces designed by Dior from the very first collection in 1947, plus fashions from his successor s Yves Saint Laurent and John Galliano, capturing the classic glamour that is Dior.
“When you're a fashion photographer, you must inspire a dream,” Patrick Demarchelier said to Vogue UK. “With Dior Haute Couture, the dream is already there.”
Featuring a foreword by contemporary artist Jeff Koons, the book will be available in November for £70 (~USD$112) from publisher Rizzoli.
