Lady LUX

Calling all green enthusiasts! We’ve found an amazingly innovative designer that utilizes reclaimed marble and recycled glass into eco-chic jewelry. Definitely a LUX pairing, if I say so myself!

The artist and designer behind this creation is Jessie Alon, a woman after our own LadyLUX heart. Self-taught and simply following her passion, she decided to open her own jewelry business, Fiddlehead Studio. Her company is built on strong values, to be both ecologically responsible and dedicated to creating stylish art in the form of everyday wear, jewelry!

It is very apparent in all of her work that she has a natural gift for design, regardless of her background. Her story is one of inspiration and is captured by this powerful quote found on her website:

Alon created herself by utilizing her innate talents and creating the ‘Terrazzo Collection.’ Which includes necklaces, earrings and bracelets that are created using sustainable practices and only re-purposed materials. All of the pieces start around $45 and the collection showcases whimsical to the classical in style.

A Venetian technique mastered in the 15th century called ‘terrazzo’ was used to create these eco-masterpieces. Alon adapted this process only after she came across it while rebuilding her house. Lucky for us, she was able to study the process and integrate it into her simple, yet elegant designs.
